Pisa is more than just its tower: the Campo dei Miracoli is one of the most stunning monumental complexes in Europe, but the city also hides medieval alleyways, lively markets and a university life that keeps it authentic and vibrant all year round.

Volterra welcomes you with its timeless atmosphere. Perched on a hilltop, it holds three thousand years of Etruscan and medieval history, artisan workshops where alabaster is still carved by hand, and breathtaking views over the Val di Cecina.

Bolgheri is the heart of the Costa degli Etruschi wine country: the famous cypress-lined avenue, the Supertuscan wines that have made Italian wine history, and the wine bars where you can stop for a tasting. A must-visit for lovers of fine wine and picture-perfect landscapes.

And then there’s Riparbella, the village just a stone’s throw from the resort, perched on the hills with a spectacular view over the sea and the Tuscan countryside. The Tyrrhenian Sea is just a few minutes’ drive from Borgo San Martino. Whether you want a day of pure relaxation under an umbrella or feel like diving into the clear waters of the Costa degli Etruschi, the sea is right here waiting for you.

The resort has agreements with two nearby beach clubs, so you can access sun loungers, umbrellas and beach services at exclusive rates reserved for guests of the borgo. No logistical hassle: we’ll take care of making access as easy as possible for you.

A morning at the beach, a light lunch on the seafront, an afternoon by the pool on your return: the perfect rhythm for a holiday that combines sea, nature and the comfort of a property nestled in the greenery.

Wine tasting at Tenuta La Regola winery

Tuscany is a land of wines. The Borgo San Martino is located in a particular production area. Here you’ll find the Azienda Vinicola Ripabella, that has built its new winery La Regola on lands that were once part of the Borgo itself 

You will experience the complete production process in a sustainable and green building that is powered by clean energy and that was built along the so-called Wine Road of the Costa degli Etruschi. 

From the production to the containers were the must is turned into wine, till the tasting of the final product, through the Barricaia, the place where the barrels are stored, a masterpiece of Master Tonelli. 

At the end of the tour tasting of 2 glasses of wine with apetizers. 

The winery is at 2 kms from the hotel.

e-bike tour

A guided e-bike your to explore the nature, have a gastronomic experience during the break and to explore the Tuscan environmental beauties, its scenery and its fragrances. 

You will be guided for the duration of two hours by professional tour leaders that will take care of you and will make the experience even more enjoyable 

The tour sets off from the Borgo. The e-bikes will grant you the minimal effort so that you can enjoy the scenery without breaking a sweat.

Hanging Garden

Have you ever tried the feeling of walking mid air among the trees of a wood? This is what the Hanging Garden will offer you. It’s ad adventure in the woods where your children will be able to try themselves in total safety on swings, Tibetan bridges, and other obstacles. All of it suspended among trees at a maximum height of 6 metres. 

Parents are welcome too, if they have the guts to do it. 

The park is at approximately 6 kms from the Borgo. 

Trekking to know local wild herbs

Wild herbs are a fundamental part of the local cuisine. You will have the chance to hike in nature and learn to know these herbs and their uses and benefits.

A journey through the land that will inspire you to know the value of seasons and the modes of preparation of recipes that use these ingredients. 

An environment touched onle by human knowledge. Nothing else. 

Orienteering in the Wood

Live the wood to the full, test your mind and body to get to the final goal.

All of it only with a map, a compass and your own wits. 

This is orienteering, an all-encompassing experience in which both physical endurance and muscle and mental resilience and situational awareness skills are tested.

Treasure Hunt in the Wood

Trasure hunts are something else if they’re in the woods.

Finding clues and traces to get to the goal, surrounded by trees, the sounds of nature and the air that smells of sap and pines is not your normal adventure.

An experience for adults and children, with an aperitivo at the end.
